❤️ You will arrive to a studio that is organized and set up specially for your family. We will take a moment to meet and warm up. We make sure we keep the environment warm and inviting with pleasant music and light snacks. (always a great way to warm up)
🧡 Once we’re ready to get to work, I’ll introduce you to inspiring works by great abstract artists and guide you in choosing a harmonious color palette that reflects your family’s style. Together, we’ll explore different artistic styles, helping you find the one that speaks to you the most.

Art can get a little messy, and we will use types of paint that might be stubborn on your clothes. We provide aprons to help protect your clothing, but it’s still best to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little paint on—just in case!

Hi, I’m Ilana!
I’m a mom of four kids who keep me on my toes and inspire me every day. As an artist and educator, I’m passionate about creating spaces where children can explore, embark on creative journeys, and express themselves in their own unique ways.
After graduating from art school in NYC, my husband and I moved to New Jersey to start our family. Becoming a mother gave me an even deeper understanding of a child’s inner world—their creativity, emotions, and the way they communicate through art. As an artist, I’ve always loved experimenting with different mediums and techniques, but painting on large canvases, especially with oil, has been my greatest love.
Over the years, I’ve watched so many parents stand on the sidelines while their children created in my studio, asking, “When do we get a turn?” That’s what inspired me to create something special for families. This isn’t about just watching your kids make art—it’s about getting messy together, having fun, and creating something meaningful as a family. It’s a chance to tell your family’s story on canvas and connect in a whole new way.
